On a very cold, snowy morning in late January, Sunrise Rotary learned all about hacks, houses and hog lines during our personal curling demonstration. The demonstration was led by Ben Walker and Josh Walker at the curling facility in a hoop house at the Emmet County Fairgrounds. Not only did we learn the language of the sport, but we also learned the rules and techniques and got the chance to give it a try! How many Rotary clubs go curling at 7:30 a.m. on a Tuesday? The answer is not many! But we do!
