Venison For Manna

In a unique project, the Sunrise Rotary Club facilitated over 200 lbs of venison to be donated to the Manna Food Pantry.  The club received donations from local hunters and arranged for a local meat processor to donate the processing.  The venison was ground and  packaged into one pound packages and distributed along with recipes.  This actually was a "pilot project" to work out the details.  Next year the goal is to donate 1000 lbs.
